Our 9th annual, week-long Trailer Blaze Comics Residency was a brilliant, transformative time once again, and tears were shed as we said our goodbyes.
The group immediately bonded through homemade dinners, chilly beach walks, relaxing in the sauna, and the most importantly, learning about each other’s comics projects and seeing their processes. Round robin studio visits have become the fuel for our collective, creative fire! We also bundled up to have [real] fires outside, flew kites, and sketched in the cove at Cape Disappointment. Thanks to the incredible residents, gathered from as far as Germany and the UK, to meet us at this special place. The Sou’Wester, Seaview, and the Pacific Ocean never disappoints.
